01About These Terms

This website is operated by Urban Vintage, 2, Co-Operative Colony, Majitha Road, Amritsar, Punjab (“we”, “us”). These terms, together with our Shipping Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy, form the agreement between you and us.

You must be at least 18 years old, or shopping under the supervision of a parent or guardian, to place an order. We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force when you place an order applies to that order.

02Products & Colours

We photograph and describe our pieces as accurately as we can. Even so, colours vary between screens, and every hand-embroidered or hand-finished garment is slightly unique. Small differences in colour, motif placement or texture are a mark of handcraft, not a defect.

All products are subject to availability. If an item you ordered turns out to be unavailable, we will tell you straight away and refund any amount paid for it.

03Pricing & Payment

• Prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable GST. Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout.
• We accept UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets through our secure payment gateway, and cash or card at the boutique.
• Prices and offers may change without notice, but a change never affects an order already confirmed.
• If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

04Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email, SMS or WhatsApp. We may decline or cancel an order — for example, if we suspect fraud or cannot verify payment — in which case any amount paid is refunded in full.

Please check your delivery address and contact number carefully; we are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect details.

05Bespoke Commissions

• Bespoke and made-to-measure orders start once you approve the design, fabric and measurements and pay the agreed advance.
• Where you provide your own measurements, we tailor to them as given; adjustments needed because of incorrect measurements may be charged.
• Delivery dates are agreed at your consultation. Changes to the design after the fabric is cut may change both the price and the date.
• The balance is payable before the garment is dispatched or collected. Garments not collected within 90 days of completion may be subject to a storage charge.

06Shipping & Returns

Deliveries are governed by our Shipping Policy, and returns, exchanges, cancellations and refunds by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Ownership and risk in the goods pass to you on delivery.

07Intellectual Property

All content on this website — our designs, photographs, logo, text and graphics — belongs to Urban Vintage or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission. Our designs may not be reproduced, whether from this website or from garments bought from us.

08Using This Website

Please use this website lawfully. You agree not to:

• place false or fraudulent orders;
• try to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;
• copy or scrape its content, or disrupt how it works;
• post reviews or messages that are unlawful, abusive or misleading.

09Liability

We are responsible for supplying the products you order with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes or courier disruptions.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

10Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will first be resolved amicably where possible; failing that, the courts at Amritsar, Punjab have exclusive jurisdiction.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
